Hi! I'm Hana Abu Bakar, or Pilates Mama. I'm a certified Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor who's passionate about helping my clients improve their physical and mental health.
I believe strongly in the importance of mind and body wellness. As a mom, Pilates helped me through my pre and post-natal journey, and gave me a firm belief that Pilates is a long-term investment for a healthier relationship with my body and mind. To me, Pilates is about consistently making sure I have quality ‘me-time’, as part of achieving better mental health and self care - and of course having a good stretch and workout!
A 1:1 session allows for a tailored workout specific to the individual's needs, goals and physical abilities. At Pilates Mama, you will have my full attention and focus for your unique and wonderful body - this means I can make adjustments for proper form and technique, minimising the risk of injury and maximising what you can get out of each session. I aim to build a relationship with each client that has accountability and motivation for you to make the most of the workout and make a regular Pilates practice a sustainable part of your life.
